Oh the irony!
 

I tried modding AI more powerful. More supplies, more resources, AI playing pre-made god who has Fortified City, things like that. I was Mictlan. I wasn't very good with Mictlan, and lost.

I lost two Arch Devils. Damn Abysians tried taking same provinces one time, and other was Last-chance attack trying to defend my home.

Also, my pretender (F4A3E4D2B4 among others) was my only mage capable to summon Arch Devils, and turn before he died I was 2 slaves out of another one. I had its equipment ready... Of course, I had given those two slaves to my mages Last turn, when they had summoned imps, not casted Hellbing Heart... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/frown.gif Needless to say, even though I had Sun Priest, he was 1 blood short, and even though I had 95 slaves that would have been enough for blood booster AND Arch Devil, I didn't yet have Constr. 6.

And then comes my Last turn. I have two provinces, one under siege, another without defenders. I got two events, researched one magic school and lost two provinces, and died. Now, consider this:

The magic school was Construction, allowing Blood Athames and Arch Devil I had already forged a set for.

The two events were two Great Treasures, giving... Robe of the Magi and Lycanthropos' amulet! Really, think of that. I have one province I can get events on. TWO Great Treasures, AND one of the items is very good item that I desperately needed... and I lost both of my provinces.

Really! What have I done to deserve this!
