Basic help w/ Oceania
 
Wanted to see what the fuss was about.

Patch 2.15. Tried to create a new Atlantis god -- saw Oceania was a theme. But, how do I trigger it? I went to the Dominions/Scales page and clicked Themes, but Oceania wasn't an option. How do I sample this new nation?

Oceania is enabled via a mod, instead of being another theme directly added to the game. You will have to go to the Dominions download page at Shrapnel, and download the Oceania mod; it can be found just under the 2.15 patch.

Extract the contents of the zip file in your mods directory, and activate the mod in the game. Oceania will then replace Atlantis when you create a Pretender.

It will eventually be a theme or a seperate race but for now it was given to us to play with as a MOD. Alneyan's instructions should work for you.

I had alot of fun with it. Kindof a watery Pangaea.

I enjoyed it too. Made a dumb mistake with one trial though: I used a Sphinx with lots of Earth magic as my god, thinking I'd forge some nicies for the merboyz. Alas, that doesn't work so well underwater . . .

Still, once I stopped kicking myself, I had a good time with it. It was, if I remember correctly, Oceania vs. Rlyeh, Ulm, Caelum, and Ermor on the Urgaea map. Sort of an odd mix of opponents, but it worked out fun. Had to mix up the ol' strategy to deal with them all.
