why O why ??
Crap!
I had an idea for a big & scripted scenario, where some AI would be in place, and each player could choose which one is his liege (the AI starts with a significant lead). So I wanted to use the #allies command. The idea was that until the player wanted to attack the AI, he would be at least safe from his liege. But after a test, it seems that even if attacked several time, the AI still follow the #allies command, and just ask to be eaten alive. I would have thought that in case of a deliberate attack, the command is overriden. Damn, a scenario idea to the trash then... |
Re: why O why ??
The answer is quite obvious, you can attack your ally accidentally.

Re: why O why ??
its already taken into account by Dominions, M. Accidentally. When you attack a neutral province at the same time as a computer AI, he dont consider you enter war. If you target a province he already own, then its a declaration of war. So its not like Illwinter cant change how #allies works. Now perhaps they consider it works as expected, and I will shut up then!

Re: why O why ??
I'll just add that you can accidentally attack your ally in his own provinces as well =P
And now we can both shut up =X |
