Anyone Reading My Story Please Read this and post!
 

Okay all I have some bad news, my next chapter will probobly take longer to post then I thought, the good side of that though is the newest chapter is LOOOONG, and is going to take the story in a whole new direction.

However I need your help, I need my story analyzed by you guys and I need your help in telling me how you, the readers view it and the people involved by answering the following questions:

1. How do you view the Icarans as a people?

2. How do you view the main characters as individuals?

3. How do you view the main characters in relation to their society?

4. How would you characterize Icaran society?

5. Do you find any of the characters in the story sympathetic? Do you feel anything for them and have an interest in what happens to them?

6. Do you enjoy the current format and description of battles? Do you want them more/less visceral and bloody?

7. Were there any points in the story thus far that made you feel particularly emotional?- any kind of emotion-.

8. Dou you sympathize with the Icarans as a race and care what happens to them?

9. If this were book would you buy it?

10. Do you find that my writing style has improved since the beginning of the story?



Please feel free to answer those questions however you see fit, I am open to all that you have to say and truely do desire your opinions on the story so far.

Hey Starhawk, no offense (really! I know you can't stand me, so that disclaimer is necessary I think)...but I think you might want to edit your post to change it from "analized" to "analyzed"

Analized can have a...very...ahem...different meaning.

Woulda PMed ya but, well, I can't...

The thing is I am not very good at critiqing other peoples work when it comes to story telling. I like what you have written thus far and note that as you write more your work gets better. I like the format and the content of the story. I find it easy to read and follow. Good work so please keep writing. And please do not get discuraged by lack of posts in your story theard. People read but seldom post. Tis the way of things.

Now if you were a published author with six or seven books under your belt with millions coming in for the movie deals, then, and only then, could you expect a LOT of comments. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
