-100% production for jubilant pop.?

Recently I've started tinkering with the data files for SE4, mostly faclilites and components. But in my Last game I noticed that a large portion of my planets couldn't manufacture anything so I took a closer look. Checked the abilities and it said -100% production due to happiness. Went back to the main info on the planet and it had a jubilant population. I don't think I've messed around to much with happiness in the settings or happiness.txt files, but I may have inadvertently saved a junk value in one of them. Anyone know what lines in particular might affect production and happiness?

In the "Settings.txt" file...

(right after Characteristics and right before "Quick Start Styles")

Mood Riot Modifier := 0
Mood Angry Modifier := 80
Mood Unhappy Modifier := 90
Mood Indifferent Modifier := 100
Mood Happy Modifier := 110
Mood Jubilant Modifier := 120

Darn just checked that and it matches your values. Must be something else I did, or maybe a number of things working together to corrupt something in the game engine. Oh well back to the drawing board.

I know one of the recent patches fixed the spelling of "Jubilant" (it used to be spelled "Jubiliant"). Is it possible that you have a file that still uses "Jubiliant"? That might be the source of the problem...

BTW - I have a Patch #4 game running just fine, even with Jubilant populations...

Obviously, this should be correct. If your population is jubilant, they must be in the middle of a giant blow-out like Mardi Gras. There's probably a conga line snaking down every street in your capital city. A population that is partying is not producing. You need to make them unhappy by telling them to get back to work. http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif

Hmm it's possible that it was misspelled. Currently, I just installed patch 4 so I've decided to sort of start over and patch my changes in a little at a time and continue testing. Hopefully that will fix things. I had considered the possibility that I had stumbled onto some sort of giagantic planetary holiday http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif Anyhow I'll see if this shows up next time I get a chance to play a game. Thanks for the help guys
