Wierd Battle
 

I just had a battle in Power Game III. The other player attacked my planet and moon that was defended with 4 battle stations and weapon platforms. The enemy ships approached and never got within troop deployment range and all of a sudden my battle stations and weapon plats destroyed my moon colony. Anyone have any idea why this happened

It sounds like they did drop troops, but the replay was corrupted.

Or perhaps the troop transport moved in, dropped troops, and then moved away in one turn. Meanwhile the combat replay only showed it moving from its original position to its final position on that turn.

I think they had some sort of long distance Transporter.
They just beamed over to your planet and took it. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
