Mini Tiny BUGFIX Wishlist for Next Patch

Do you think, O Mighty and Overworked Powers that Be, that these changes for the next patch would be possible as bugfixes?

- Hama Dryads should have a Map Move of 0
- Call of the Wilds should only work on Forest Provinces
- "Goto Commander" in the Message Screen should goto the commander when he is sneaky / result of Assassination

Re: Mini Tiny BUGFIX Wishlist for Next Patch

- AI should be able to build castles. It's _way_ stronger than, building heavy inf and national units

- Ai should only chose death scale with undead nations, as it doesn't have a clue about supply and forging supply items to keep it's army from starving

Those 2 things are not bugfixes but nerfings to already rarely used spells .
Call of Wilds already costs 15!!!! nature gems and can't beat more then 5-10 PD .
So why the forest restriction ? It would nerf the spell into oblivion probably .

I never ever summoned a Hama Dryad . 5 for 10 Nature gems ?
For that i get 6+ Lamia Queens or 10+ Vine Ogres , both spells require nature 3 to cast also .
I can't think of any situation in which the Hama Dryads would be more useful then the 10 gems invested in Vine Ogres or Lamias instead .

Yeah that would be really great http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif .
If you play with a resource modificator like 10x base resources the Ai builds nice Armies with their starting castle only.

If the Ai could build castles normally it would be much stronger .
Will there be any development in this area at least for Dominions 3 ? Now that i own Hoi 2 i am dreaming of a cool SP Dominions AI also http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif.
In Hoi 2 you can even Mod the AI to your tastes , you can e.g. set the percentages for different troops and the AI aims at that . There are several AI-Files also .

Germany AI has e.g. each game a 20% chance to try operation sea lion then it builds lots of aircraft and ships for a while . When Barbarossa starts it builds lots of Infantry and Tanks instead . You can tweak all that to your own liking .

If something like that could be done for Dominions 3 this would be AWESOME http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif .
Just a few settings like :
Gold spent on :
10% castles
5% temples
5% labs
20% Li
40% Hi
20% Cav

Another setting is then e.g.
30% castles
10% labs
10% temples
50% Hi/Cav

Each Ai nation has at least 3 such files and choses 1 randomly so in every game the ai will play different , in one game it will madcastle , in another it rushes with lots of LI/MI etc. .

Make them completely modable and soon players will make lots of good Ai files and spread them for the community .

Zen and Saber Cherry e.g. would surely make a few very nice AIs http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif .

No, they are bugs if you look at the descriptions.
The fact that you do not use them or many other things is besides the point!

So where are those bugs? In description or in the code? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

I would rather say the description is incorrect and fix the description http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif.

Re: Mini Tiny BUGFIX Wishlist for Next Patch

I think that limiting Fairy Trod and Call of the Wild to forest provinces would make them more thematic, and allow lowering their price or making them more powerful.

Generally, I think that the descriptions show what Illwinter would like the game to be like, and the code is the implementation that doesn't always match the ideal. But it could also be because Johan and Kristoffer disagreed... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

I'm a big "descriptions" fan -- it is, after all, what we can see. Therefore, bugs are always in the code! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...es/biggrin.gif
