Question about modding
Is there a limitation on how many start abilities a unit can get? I'm asking because I've experimented to see how many abilities to give a unit. At this point I can only give max 6 abilities to an unit. Is this the max or a bug?

I think it is a possible max. I'm not sure about modded abilities, but in the code there are two kinds of abilities. First one is abilities without a value such as need not eat. Second set of abilities are abilities with a varying value such as forge bonus, dominion strength, and a lot of others. In the code there is a limit to the second ones.
Fire res 100 is of the first kind, but anything else (25/50/75 etc) would be of the second kind. Experiment a bit, but it is likely that you have hit the ceiling. |
