Loading saved MAPS

When you save a map, is the only thing it saves the system structure? When loading a map, are all the planets already made (when you originally saved it), or are they randomly generated when the game starts a new one? Are warp point locations within a system changed? Remember, this pertains to loading maps. TIA!

Re: Loading saved MAPS

When you save a map, the game takes a snapshot of all the stellar objects present at the time. If you have opened new wormholes or closed old ones, that will be in the new map. Any ringworlds you have created or asteroids you have converted to planets will also be there.

However, sometimes the game will generate planets to be used as homeworlds for players or ai if it cannot find a suitable planet already there.
