Province List issue

Have anybody else had problems finding a province on the map or the list?

Specially when, say a mage casts Dark Knowledge or any searching spell, the option is to go to commander (useless in this case), instead to go to searched province (I want to see which site I found!!)

The list in the F1 shortcut could be sorted by name or sorted by what user chooses (maybe dom3?)

When I´m loosing this doesn´t matter because I have few provinces.

Good suggestions!

Well, you can take a look at the event that says "So and so cast <radar spell> at <province> <results>", you can see the province name there, and then go and look at it. A bit more tedious than having a direct "Go to province" link, but workable.

The thing I would like to see is the F1 view slowdown issue caused by the magic site display section of the overview (that is what breaks it in late game on large maps)

Edi: Unfortunately some maps (Orania in particular because the list to choose from is too short) have multiple provinces with the same name... and suppose you control two provinces of identical names? (I know, this could be solved easily enough. Make a longer list to choose random names from.)
Sounds like what Manuk is asking for is: in the F1 screen, have by the province name a box for "click here to look at this province in main map". This makes sense, I could see myself using this...

Re: Province List issue

So what if several provinces have the same name?
Just sort them by name and secondary sort by province #.
So province "Har" numbered 212 will come right after province "Har" numbered 120 (unless there are more "Har"s in the middle).

This is also a problem when giving or recieving a Mind Hunt, for example. As the caster it tells you who cast the spell and who died, but it doesn't tell you where they got killed. Similarly, as the defender, it tells you who died, but not where.

And when you are playing Ermor, for example, you have a lot of people named "Eyeless", so actually figuring out what just happened is not trivial.
