Rules : This announcement is being mailed to all players in the RacetoSEV tournament. After the draw official emails will be sent to the winners of the prizes. Prize winners will also be posted at the following locations. PBW, ShrapnelGames SE4 forum and PBW Race to SEV Forums. Winners have one week to claim their prize by contacting myself or Captain Kwok. If the winner does not reply within one week the prize will be redrawn. This will continue until all prizes are claimed.
Draw. All players who are not in the final will be placed in the random draw. Each name will be assigned a random number. Then a random number generator will be used to draw the number. Players can only win 1 beta slot or one copy of SEV.
Prize order. Beta slot, Gift Cert, Gift Cert, Copy of SEV, Shipset, Gift Cert, Beta Slot, Gift Cert, Gift Cert, Copy of SEV, Gift Cert, Beta Slot.

There was a tourney set up in SEIV on PBW that had players fighting it out for SEV beta slots and so forth. The winners of those game got their bids and now the random draw is to give out the rest of the prizes.

Just to give you an idea as to what it is in more detail, here is the description of this tourney from before it started:

Space Empires Play by Web and Malfador Machinations proudly present Race for SEV play by web tournament. Entry to the tournament closes on August 1st and is available for all registered PBW players. Cost to enter is 20 U.S. dollars. Proceeds from the tournament will be donated to PBW to pay for monthly server costs. Any questions please contact admin@pbw.com

Tournament Rules.

* All participants must be a registered PBW player.
* If you have not registered please do so at PBW
* 20 U.S. Dollars must be paid to PBW via Pay Pal ( http://seiv.pbw.cc/donate.html )
* In the payment notes please add Entry FEE for Race to SEV. PWB Nick = ( Your PBW Nick )
* Once this payment has been verified you will be entered into the tournament.
* Your nick will be assigned to a PBW Race to SEV game by a Game Administrator.
* There will be 4 initial games set up. Players will be added evenly to each game until the maximum 20 positions are filled.
* If this occurs then another game will be added and all games will be evened out.
* This process will be repeated until August 1st.
* On August 5th the games will be created on PBW and the Game administrator will add the players to the games.
* Each player will be sent an email detailing the Game rules and a link to the SEIV personalized entry screen.
* All players must have their empires loaded and ship set selected by August 12th.
* If you cannot get your empire in at this time please email you empire file to you Game admin ahead of time.
* If you do not have your empire loaded on August 13th the Game Admin will upload a generated empire for you and send you an email with its password.
* On August 15th the tournament will start.
* The winners from round one games will be advanced to the final round.
* The final round game will begin 1 week after the completion of round one.

* Trading will be turned off.
* 48hour Automated Turn.

I forsee a problem concerning me (I apologise for my ego). There is no point me winning Red Lobster or Olive Garden certificates. We have Red Rooster, not Red Lobster and I don't even know what Olive Garden is (Greek food?).
