Overseas move, need a few temp replacement players
 

Hi all,

My wife and I are moving overseas soon for work (to Bahrain, FWIW). I'll still be playing PBW of course (I am an addict, after all) but while the actual move will just take a few days, over the next six weeks we are taking time off to visit family and do some traveling (a little vacation from work).

This means that the next six weeks are almost impossible for me to play my PBW empires. I would GREATLY GREALTY love any temporary replacements I could get. You'd get my first born male child if you want. I would give lots of details on each empire and do whatever else I needed to in order to make it as easy on people as possible.

The empires I need to find replacements for are:

* Ultimate 001 - The Exiles of Kor - mid stage DevNull mod game (Exiles are a psychic race, ranked #2, and are at peace and involved primarily in protecting their borders and building up their economic strength)

* JJPEAR - The Exiles of Kor - late stage stock game (Exiles here are a Religious race fighting a desperate and brutal war against their hated enemy the Zigfreedians. Zigs are ranked #1, Exiles are ranked #5. But we're religious)

* Proportions #1 - The Daitoon Consortium - late stage Proportions 2.10.3 mod game (Daitoo is a low maintenance empire that pretty much runs itself and is at peace with everyone it knows)

* Proportions #2 - "The Zone" - early stage proportions mod game (The Zone is a collection of pirates, anarchists, and criminals - but they're not at war with anyone)

* Proportions #3 - The Diaspora - mid stage proportions mod game (Human empire at peace with everyone, mainly concerned with econ development - empire practically runs itself)

* The Great Experiment - The Shin Nippon Teikoku - late stage Stock (Isolationist human empire, currently at peace and has many friends and ringworlds...but tense political situations abound in this game)

In terms of "when," we leave this Friday (April 8th) and return April 16th and then we leave again on April 25th and return on May 22nd. So, I am pretty much unable to do turns between April 8th to May 22nd.

I know this is a long time to be a replacement - for that reason I would definitely be willing to consider a permanent takeover of any of these empires.

That would be most excellent. I would GREATLY appreciate it if the Exiles in the JJPEAR game and the Shin Nippon in the TGE3 game were taken over by you. I can write up a whole mess o' notes and stuff to make it as hassle free as possible. And, I will totally make it up to you. my first born male child? Howabout a chihuahua puppy? Name your price...

Now, if anyone else out there was able to take over for me in the Ultimate 001 devnull mod game and the Proportions #1 then I'd be set...

How will things go for the zeta 2 game, will you have someone take over the game ownership there during your absence ?

Yeah, Geoschmo has told me that he'll take over the games I'm hosting. And I'll make sure to give him all sorts of details on them in order to maintain continuity, and reduce hassles...
