Fun with DoGA-3
 

There's a nifty setting in the default material choices for DoGA L3 called "Anime." Decided to play around with it; came up with "Guni the She-Mecha."

Sometimes I just can't get those damn image tags to work and I don't know why the f... that is. It just pisses me off.

Here's another ^^^

If someone else can put the image in tags successfully go ahead.

Edit (sheesh!) Ok,that didn't work.

And I got a guess: My theory is that it has to do with the extension letters at the end of the linked url. If it ain't .jpg/.gif then it might not get recognized as an image.

It's "img", not "image". Also, don't right-click->copy shortcut, or whatever it was you used to get the url. Actually click on the link to the attachment and copy what appears in the address bar.

Do me a favor, douglas. Quote yourself (this same message that I quoted) and look at the tags. They clearly say "image." Thanks for the tip on the copy>paste thingy, though I can't see why it makes a dif. Also, re:image vs. img - the Instant UBB Code key in the reply screen that makes an image for you uses {image}{/image}... I guess that's why it doesn't work?

Hmm, after some test edits, it appears that both "img" and "image" work. Your only problem was the address.

About the issue of what address to use, the link used for attachments in posts is an indirect link - that is, it accesses a script or index that looks up the file given an ID number when you click on it - and the image tags need a direct link.
