Using mod races
How do you create new games where the computer will select mod races ? In lieu of that how can I select the AI races I wanna play against. I tried starting a game with the new races and then switching them over to computer control, but the computer didn't seem to do anything for them.

Re: Using mod races
You can either add them through "add new empire' options and then 'edit' and select computer control b4 starting the game or start the game after selecting the .emp files and then you must activate all the AI ministers and then switch them over to computer control. Otherwise they will sit there and just look pretty. The minister AI is under the empire options (the crown button). Switching over to computer control is under the 'players button' in game menu (f2), just click till they have dots. Hope this helps.

Re: Using mod races
Before you start the game, go to each race you added and switch it to computer control as well as telling it to use the Race Style ministers. After you've already started a game, you need to go to Empire Options->Ministers and click 'Complete AI On' before you switch it to human control.
The game sorta randomly picks the mod races with the rest. But, painful though it may be, you're a lot better off just adding them yourself and manually switching them to computer control/use Race Ministers. |
