Questions about Star Trek mod ver 1.9.1.2
 
I DLd the STM ver 1.9.1.2 on Saturday and have begun to play a game as the Klingons (naturally).

I have many of the images, because last year I DLd various component packs or image packs or something, but I don't have images for:

warp nacelle
planet weapons marker (?)
missile weapons marker (?)
EBM marker (?)

Where can I get them?

Also, I'm confused about ship designs.

A frigate hull is 320 kT. A warp core is 1000 kT. So how do you fit a warp core into a frigate? I designed a frigate with impulse engines, but found that it can move--not even within the system.

Im spending lots of turns doing nothing but advancing my research. Is it supposed to be this way?

I'm confused.

The mod looks great, though. The images are exquisite, and the attention to detail....amazing! Thanks, William!

Almost certainly, you need to use a reactor mount.
It will reduce the size of the reactor to be proportional to the ship size you're using.

There have been a number of new entries in the imagemod since last year.
At the moment, I'm actually compressing the lastest stuff into zips and rars in the background.

In about 30 minutes, I'll have the componentpack v26 uploaded to imagemodserver, and you can get the latest stuff, which does include some new ST mod components.

Thanks much! I love the look and concept of the mod, but I've had some trouble getting me head round it!

It took me a very long time to begin playing mods, but they really do exponentially increase the replayability of what already is an almost infinitely replayable game.

I tried to include all the answers to the most asked question in the Before You Play and in the Installation documents.

Also when choosing designs look the each hull size ability, they should list how many warp nacelles they need. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
