Enhanced Map Editor Question

OK. Not sure this will be answered in as much detail as I would like since the Enhanced CD hasn't been released yet BUT I will take what I can get. I already know I can crop out sections of aa larger map to map smaller maps BUT,

1. If I generate a 200x160 hex map in the Editor can I dump an single image file of the ENTIRE map and not small sections like in SPMBT when using SPCMap? Basically I need a decent screenshot of the entire map, not something that generates 10-20 small chuncks that then takes weeks to paste together into a larger image for use in a Multi-Player Campaign Tool.

Re: Enhanced Map Editor Question

I'll probably need to get an aquaintance who uses this enchanced version, so that I can send him/her a map for them to take a map-shot of and send it back to me.
Trying to draw ones own version on a piece of paper is only so accurate. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

The short answer is no. The files would be huge. Half the people trying it would exceed the ability of their machines to process that big an image. However, if I run it at 1600x1200 and zoom the map out all the way I can get 134x155 hexes on screen in one go so you could do an entire map in 4 shots then paste together which isn't so bad unless you want all the details in which case it will be a bit of work to piece them together
