Doga Parts Pack
 

It might be a good idea to make a large compilation of the various parts people use for Doga. It would definitely greatly aide those new to ship modelling. Any takers?

Please make sure to include any credits information relevant for the parts, especially if you got them from an internet source.

Latest Versions Of DOGA You want to Install L3 latest version.

Go HERE and enter in this address into the Translate Website tab. http://doga.jp/2004/programs/dogal/dogal3/download.html and DOGA Beta Site Set to translate from Japanese to English and click ok - if it fails, try again. If not download L3 210 or L3 210 T or both. L3 210T has High Res objects and rendering ability.

Also visit the DOGA Forums and browse them for links to download new parts. Also visit Todd's WEB SITE for more help.

You have seen the renders I have done, so that should tell you that it can be done.

It might be a good idea to make a textures pack as well... I've noticed a lot of shipsets using the same old textures which are frankly getting kind of boring, no offense Atrocities http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif
edit: BTW, what kind of parts would anyone need? It's pretty easy for me to whip something simple up in Wings, and a while back I wrote a program that would let me convert .obj files to Doga's native part format, so if I can find that program...

I can put what I have into a pack.... combine with others and the three unoffical packs from Todds site.
