Bizarre
 

I was playing Ermor and all of sudden I get a battle report that states that my forces have captured a province from Marignon (whom I even hadn't met to that point). When I check out the battle and discover that "my forces" consisted of a bunch of Ermorian Cultists and a horde of Ghouls. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/confused.gif

'Twas a random event actually, where you can get some troops to attack a province (*any* province). It's unlikely to work, of course, but it *can* work if you are lucky.

Don't worry, Marignon can pay you back: they have a random event giving them an attack against Ermor (only Ermor, I think). Kind of surprising when you have a peace treaty with Ermor, and suddenly see that you've got a Dominion 5 province right in the middle of the Ermorian empire, with a handful of troops defending it.

If I recall correctly there's also a special event that anyone can get where your provinces are under attack by a bunch of cultists with walking dead, and if you are Ermor you get to control those cultists (when someone else gets that event), or are we talking about the same event?

There is a similar event with Pangea, where some dryads and meads suddenly attack an enemy province. The person attacked actually gets the event.

I think both see the battle, but I'm not sure. Both parties should get a message and see the battle, though, and that is one of the minor things I hope will be fixed for DomIII.
