I live in Monticello - 90 miles north of Indy - but I doubt I'll get to go. That weekend is pretty busy here.

Eh, I can understand that. Only reason I'm able to go is because for one I live here so I needn't worry about a place to stay, I work downtown so I can park for free, and I saved up vacation time to get a little extra money.

I once went to a convention of sorts and was amazed at all the stange people I saw. Then it occured to me that I too was at the convention, duh, so I was also strange. I have not gone to one since. So to answer the question, I will not be attending Gen Con, not because I don't want to be viewed as stranged, but because I cannot afford to be considered as stranged. Is that strange?
