New player looking for a match?

Hi.. I'm not sure what the process is around here, but I thought I'd post and solicit for a game - I'm a rank newbie, only having played single-player games for a month or so. Anyone up for a 1v1, or need a sub for another newbie match?

Well, if you show up on the weekend on the dominions IRC channel there is a good chance of a quick game (link to info in this thread). Most players there are not newbies, but if you don't mind getting your pretender's head handed to you on a plate a few times, it is a quick way to learn.

There are some new player games starting up at the moment, check out their threads to see if there's room for one more or if a replacement is needed.
