Resorce Converters
 

Help (or point in right direction) on the resorce converters do they work? is the converted to show up in the next turn? or that turn? I have tried to tell but can't (yup memory 'bout [] that long)am I doing something wrong? http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/shock.gif

It shows up that turn.

Hmmm I think something not right it's not showing in that turn (memory a tad bit longer) I look at my resorces and they do not change

if you are playing simultanious, the planet gets the order that turn and the resources are available the next turn.

Nope, playing turn based but it maybe showing up in the next turn.

It shows up immediatly, but it's not automatic. You have to select the planet the the resource converter is on and select the "convert resources" button. That takes you to a screen where you can enter how many of what type to convert to what you want.

Try again and check very well the options... the first time that I have used the converted, I have converted Mineral to Mineral, and lost 30% of resources in the process!!!!! http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon9.gif
You need to select the resource that you want to convert, and the final resource.

Also a minor detail I've noticed: You can't convert from or to more than one thing. IE. you can do 100k Organics to Minerals, but can't do 50k Organics to Minerals and 50k Radioactives to Minerals, or 100k Radioactives to Minerals and Organics. You have to go through the dialogue for each conVersion.

I'm pretty sure I sent something in on this, but it's nothing really major...
