Shatted Hope PBW game the last 7 year (game time)
 

If anyone is interested, I have written a summary of what’s been happing in the last seven years of the Shattered Hope game. You can find it in the SEIV After Action Reports. Its called “Shattered Hope – Nova Storm War”. The games not though yet, but it’s getting close.

7 years ? The game has been played for 7 years now ? I once participated in a Devnull mod game with 7 players. It must have been going on for about 1,5 years, but by now i have all planets colonized, terraformed and even ringworlds constructed. I cant imagine any game lasting for 7 ! years...especially considering the game im talking about was using high tech cost...By the end, i had 2 million research points, 14 million ressources cached and a ressource production of 7 million (though only about 1,5 million surplus).

I think he means in gametime (so, between 70 and 79 turns), as indicated in the brackets.

I don't think any game could last for seven years, since the game was simply not available back in 1998. Other than that, a Proportions game could certainly last for a few years: Proportions #1 is around turn 300, and has been created three years and a half ago. The game is not necessarily a "Last One Standing", so I doubt it will be over anytime soon: I know I am perfectly fine playing the Minbaris.

lol ok, i thought he may actually mean game time, on the other hand i did not knew SEIV hasnt been available for 7 years.

In real time the game has only been going on for about a year.

The report is a summary of the game from turn 2409.6 through 2416.6 which is 7 game years. In real life that would be from March 2005 to now (~7 months)
