Carriers and Fighters.
 

I rarely use carriers and fighters, but I have one question:

When an enemy attack my carrier, do the fighters deploy automaticaly?

Depends whether you use strategic or tactical combat mode. Strategic - yes they launch automatically, tactical - no you have to manually launch using one of the "launch unit" commands under the "Orders" button.

The group size of fighters launched is set in Empire> Stratagies>Fleet orders eg MAX range etc.
You can set it for say multiple Groups of 5 or one big group of 30.
