.com.unity Forums - Its 4am And I Am On Turn Eight

I started playing one of my Expanded Mod games at around 2am and well its now 4am and I have only compeleted eight turns. When I picked the game up, I was on turn 252 and I am no processing turn 261. The turn processing is taking about five to ten minutes now.

The Rebellion have the largest empire with a score of 22.8m. I have a score of 11.1 m.

Its been a good game so far, been playing it off and on now for about a week. I have build three sphere worlds and four or five ring worlds. I have most of the asteroids converted to planets and have turtled myself into 50 systems. (About equal to what the Rebellion have but they have twice the number of planets at just over 800 colonized).

I am converting all of my min/org/rad facilities into monoliths and building up a nice storage of each resource. My large ships, the Atrocities Class Heavy Baseships take about 20 turns to build. I have just over 50 queues working on those. I am building a crap load of star killers, mainly to punish the SJ for having blown up two of my systems earlier in the game. So far I have nuked seven of their star systems over the last 25 or so turns. They have gone from a solid 3rd place with ove 400 planets to 5th with little more than 150 now. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif

They won't surrender.

The Empire did ok but the Rebellion has crushed them. They and the Aikien are about tied for 3rd and 4th place at nearly 6.0m each.

The neutrals are all but gone. I have conqured four and have one under subjugation right now. I need the terrifs.

All in all it has been an enjoyable game. I cannot wait to unleash my Star Killers upon the Rebellion systems. I hope to blow up 20 systems at one time forcing them to surrender.
