I always see this button whenever I go in to the game, but I was wondering if there are any to download as I have never encountered one apart from tutorial!

Thanks

Re: Scenario

I made a couple back in the day...

Note that these probably require SE4 Classic.

Re: Scenario

sorry for sounding dumb, but how do I actually use it? do I copy the ziped folder to the scenario folder or do I do whats in the folder to the root SE4 folder?

Re: Scenario

Yeah, it requires SE4 classic (v1.49) and P&N v2.3

Re: Scenario

I made one a few years ago but I never cleaned it up for use by other people. Mostly it is just a map I created, and a couple custom graphics for the secret. It had up to 10 players starting in compleatly equal systems with one large planet in the center as their homeworld, a star, and a warp point in the same sector, and 16 huge worlds (same type and atmosphere) in a ring around the sun. (game setup required creating empires in a certain order for world type and atmosphere). The warp point from each system met at a central system, with random movement in it so it was almost imposible to blockade the warp point from that side. All reaserch was removed, new tech levels are from colonizing the 16 planets around you. Maybe I'll have to dig it out and clean it up.

Hmm, sounds a lot like one of Puke's Furball games crossed with Junkyard Wars...

Re: Scenario

@wolfman77 sounds like fun!

also, has anyone played the awekning scenario? I found it in the scenario subforum/thread at the top..

I just want to know if anyone completed this, I can get quite far and basically "survive" for ages, I have stockpiled a lot of resources and I have colonised a lot of planets, but I just cant do anything more, I have got at least 50 intel centers 2 (I cant research level 3, just yet...) but with 18 other opponents each doing intel against me, I just cant win, it is impossible to colonise more planets or build a fleet because crew insurrection and other annoying intel projects.

so, has anyone been able to do it?

Re: Scenario

Yeah, I never got the Awakening scenario balanced very well. It was intended to be hard, but I think I made it too hard. You aren't the first person who mentioned the intel being a problem. I thought about making a version with no intel, but I never got around to doing it.

Re: Scenario

Also, there are some scenarios in the "Gold Extras" on the SE4 Gold CD. Look for Scenario Pack.zip or something like that. There should be two or three scenarios in there if I remember correctly.

I also made a Star Trek Voyager scenario which required my Trek Mod. I can't find a link to either the scenario or the mod anymore though and I don't have the originals. Maybe someone has them posted somewhere?
