Hi,

The Battle (Campaign) of LZ X-ray is READY.

Live the experience of the ultimate Tactical Realism.

1. The map is a real topographic map.

2. The units match the historical units with incredible depth of details (names of the leaders, number of soldiers etc...).

3. The timing of events is historically accurate.

4 The positioning of units is historically accurate.

5. The AI tactics are historically accurate.

6. The availability of reinforcements is historically accurate.

7. Experience for the first time the campaign system of MULTI-STAGE HISTORICAL SCENARIOS or,

8. Play the semi-historical LONG BATTLES (2 levels of difficulty)

9. Each scenario's description is based on the original Lt. Col Hal Moore's After Action Report (this way, while you play, you will learn history from the original source.

10. The LZ X-ray Campaign files are installed with the use of the original WinSPMBT installation program.

Enjoy the Historical Simulation

Pyros, any alternative email adress I can use ?

Maciej,

Have you tried to Pyros@myway.com ?

Otherwise, give a try to the email address next to my profile in the Blitz ladder.
Anyway, I will check the settings of my email account because I prefer to receive SPAM emails rather than losing good feedback! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

cheers,

I've downloaded it, opened it and set it up. Beautifully done, Pyros Team. The additional web sites and tons of historical info really add to the campaign.

You could not have chosen a better one to represent Vietnam. It has it all.

I know how you feel about contact with the real folks. When I did the Mega Campaign Screaming Eagles, I was able to be in touch with actual members of the Eagles who fought in WWe, including Don Malarky of Company E (Band of Brothers). He gave me first hand accounts of some of the fights!

I'll keep those written letters always.

I don't think I've ever seen a campaign in any game that has a more complete and accurate historical background. I see Stephen Porter headed up your testing team. He is a great guy and I know he did a great job for you.

I recommend those who love history as much as wargaming (as I do) to give this one a try. I'm into the first battle already.

Re: The Battle (Campaign) of LZ X-ray is READY

Thank you WB,

Yes it is quite exciting to get in contact with people who actually participated in these historical events.
I understand very well what you also felt by getting in contact with such HEROES (Honor and Responsibility).

I was very lucky that Steve Moore gave me all the support I needed in order to clarify some fine details by asking (indirectly) his father, Lt. Gen Hal Moore.

Concerning Skirmisher, I agree with you that his was outstanding in both his evaluation and the level of commitment during this project! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...es/biggrin.gif

Finally, I wish to thank you WB for your kind words and to repeat myself on what I ve already told you:

WB, Lead the way!

cheers,
Pyros

p.s By the way a revision of the campaign is already under way (it will be ready sometime after 3-4 months).

Very kind of you Pyros. I'm still learning and you've shown me some things here that I like very much!
