Command Vehicles

Do command vehicles actually add any improvement to command abilities? Are command vehicles strictly cosmetic? I assume command vehicles are high kill targets.

Cosmetic.

Some folks may need them for scenarios, otherwise they are usually just another type of unit to lift HQ etc in the OOBS.
