Updated Zorians

I posted an updated Version of the Zorians, along with an updated Atraikian race.

after a lot of fumbling I finally figured out why the zorians stopped colonizing, and got it corrected.

I would like to know if anyone has any comments reguarding them, in the games I have been playing, they seem to be holding thier own fairly well (including holding the Rage off for 54 turns with 4 ships while having the problem with colonizing, actually getting in and destroying multiple rage planets twice, finnaly lost it on turn 54 when they went to war with the colonials though).

So what was the problem with colonizing? Other modders might want to learn from your experience...

Re: Updated Zorians

It was one of those "too much to do, too little time", and "too much stress" brain farts. I had an extra blank line in the DesignCreation file whitch prevented the program from recognizing anything located after the extra blank line.

The biggest thing I got out of this mistake was that the brain finally woke up, and I realized that these text files for the AI are not just text files, they are more of a line delimited data base, I think I understand how they are used a lot better now.

Thinking of the AI files in a line delimited database format, I was wondering if anyone around here with a good knowledge of the advanced feature of excell and the time to spare, would be willing to but together an excel workbook in a standard spreadsheet database format with auto-verifing cells to prevent incorrectly entering the fields that have to be specific values, and possibly including look-up capabilities for weapon families, and some kind of tonage calculations for ship designs to make AI ship designs more efficient, that would be able to export to a text file in a line delimited format. I would be happy to, but I have too many things to do now that I probally wouldn't get to if for a good six months.
