Ah, yes, the IJN had some lovely names.

Who could imagine a destroyer-escort named -
"Dawn (still the moon remains in the sky)"

German/Italian Ship Names
 

I posted the ship name files that I use for the German and Italian Navies from WW1 and WW2 in the mod area.

If anyone is interested, I have a Engish ship list based on the British OOB's of the battles of Trafalgar, and Jutland although many of them are also used in other ship name lists, and a list of every IJN ship from escorts and larger from WW2 on paper that I would be willing to type up if anyone is interested in having me post them.
