lamashtas
in that one game i played against the AI i tried out to summon a mass of lamashtas to kill a huge army the comp had raised. My shedu summoned about 8 of them during battle, but all they did was beating up my infantry http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/frown.gif
Q: is there any way to get the lamashtas moving to the enemy army instead of killing my own soldiers ? |
Re: lamashtas
try sending in just your commander/put your troops all behind your shedu. with shedus strength he should survive if they attack him

Re: lamashtas
didn't work. 4 of 10 attacked the enemy. the rest attacked the shedu and later the other 4 joined them after the enemy was dead.

Re: lamashtas
I've only found lammashtas to be useful as a guerilla type of attack. Either summon them with guys whose death doesn't bother you (perhaps because they're immortal), or summon them and then get out.

Re: lamashtas
yay, ive found the perfect use for demi-liches http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif. using them with demi-liches and an undead ermor should work (because of large death income)

Re: lamashtas
Lamashtas are a last-resort type tactic. Useful if you need to whittle down an approaching army. Use em with twice-born mages. Demi-liches ought to have better things to do http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

Re: lamashtas
Flying mages with a handful of flying bodyguards:
1) Attack rearmost 2) Cast 3) Cast 4) Retreat |
Re: lamashtas
but then again sending/calling horrors or ghost riders are generally more effective ways to 'remove' armys
