I have come, and Ibring database questions with me
Firstly, YAY!
I have just registered, and greet you all. Second, how do I run the unit database? I'm somewhat adept with computers, but am baffled by this: <the file type is not suitable for running MS-DOS or windows applications. I'm running Windows XP, and I am confused. Mostly looking at the DB for unit numbers to use in modding- don't really feel like wishing for all the units i need to find their numbers. Re: I have come, and Ibring database questions with me
There are excel (.xcl) files, which can be viewed in Excel, free ExcelViewer, OpenOffice and other free office programs, etc.
I think Unit Database also comes in OpenOffice format. I don't remember the file identifier, but finding the excel file is probably easier any way. Also, you might have confused the archive with the actual file. If the file you're trying to open is RAR (.rar), it is package in which the database file is in (comparable to better-known ZIP files). Open it using WinRar. |
