AI_General, racial trait assigning (all)
How can I assign every racial trait to a race? I have removed the costs from racial traits, added them to the AI_general.txt, but the race just takes the first one of them. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/confused.gif

The AI does not add free traits if it runs out of points. It might also stop adding free traits just for fun. You can work around this by adding a trait that costs points to the end of the list, even if it costs one point. If the AI can afford that trait, it will add all of the intervening 0 cost traits.

Also, on the list of dumb things I've done more than I care to admit... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif ... make sure you change the "Race Opt # Num Advanced Traits :=" settings. I have a bad habit of adding new advanced traits on the lines below this, but forgetting to change the number of traits parameter from 1, so it ignores the additional traits regardless of whether it can afford them or not.
