While talking with some friends on line, I was referred to this site when the topic of additional Babylon 5 movies came up.

As many of us have a special place in our hearts for this series, I thought it only fitting to post about it here. I don't know if any one else has posted about this so please forgive me if it is redundent.

It really is a shame that such crappy sci-fi movies as those that often seem to find their way onto the Sci-Fi channel, are regularly produced, but such historically proven concepts as Babylon 5, and its spin offs, always meet with disaster.

Crusader was cancelled because JMS would not allow TNT to tamper with the show. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/frown.gif That was really a sad sad thing. The dubious Sci-Fi channel produced the Legend of the Rangers and was poised to produce a spin off series by the same name, but opted to renig on the deal because JMS would not compermise on principals of the show. Good for him. Better no series than some half assed crap.

This latest endevour met with a funding SNAFU and was put on hold. I don't know what it would take to get it off the ground and actually made, but I am willing to bet that unless there is interest, there is no hope.
