Xurian Confederacy
 

Inspired by the great works of Atrocities, I'm very nearly done with a ship set of my own. While nowhere near his league, I still thought I'd post a couple of examples and see what folks around here think.

So here is a preview of the Xurian Confederacy's Race Portrait, Worldship, Starbase, Small Fighter, and Drone.

The race portrait is particularly impressive. Is that taken from some scifi show or did you make it yourself?

Actually, it is a modified picture of a "one-off" race of aliens fron Stargate. Liked the look of them enough and the picture was workable, so I decided to give it a shot.

Take your time working on the set. If you add just a touch more detail, another secondary turret here, sensors pod there, you'll be much more satisfied with the result, even if others won't see every last detail http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif I always design my ships with as much detail as possible, such as a name on the hull, a secondary or tertiary battery, an engine block, etc., even though I know no-one will even see the stuff.....
