We will have the option of reverting back to Dominions II color scheme? Missing the Tan/Beige backgrounds every time I look at a screenshot.

I can't think why not, It looks like the same UI is used for both games with diffrent colours, all you need to do is find those colours and import them from Dominions II

P.S. I agree that the old colours were better

I highly recommend that someone grab screens and colors from Dom2 to start work on replacement screens.

I might enjoy that, but Im not sure that its such a big deal as to tie up some of the game code for it

I wonder if that interface mod works with Doms 3? ...can't remember who made it, but it's really good, with a different interface texture scheme for each nation.

I dont think anyone ever did do a newbie screen. It should be easy to replace the background screen of the maps with one that has the keypresses down the sides.
