OT - On Pins and Needles
My 36week pregnant wife is on the way to the OB this morning feeling "uncomfortable". As a physician it is irritating to feel powerless with the care of your wife and unborn child.
I know everything is fine and even if she is in labor, she's close enough that the likelihood is that everything will go smoothly. Now I have to work in the office until I hear from her. |

Everything went alright today, she's home again, resting.
This is our second child. I've delivered plenty of babies in my professional life (over sixty). 37 weeks is considered term, but I still don't like the idea of going early, it just increases the risk of NICU stays, and such. We'll make it. |

Well, she's contracting more regularly over the weekend, still no baby. We're still waiting.
