Need help having problems with v1.95
 

After installing the 1.95 update i had to go back in to my settings file and alter the max systems back up to 255, However even after doing this the map generator wont generate more than 50 or so systems on a map, is ther a way to fix this anoying bug?

Also on the mod front, I have seen everything from babylon5 to farscape and from starwars to star trek, but has anyone ever thought of making an eve-online mod for se4 as the eve univers is paerfect for a mod, if some one has already done this then where can i find it? if some one hasnt done it then it would be a good one to do, hell if i knew how to make a mod i would be right on it.

Yep, this is the right place to post. If the problem has a solution, someone here will know it.

Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with that particular issue. Changing settings.txt should be all that needs to be done. However, I'm running 1.91, not 1.95, so it might be an issue introduced by the patching.

Don't worry, someone here will get back to you pretty quick...hopefully someone who knows more than me!!

You can load SE4, hit new game, and generate/save a map right there. Should work for you.

To make a mod, simply create a mod folder in the SE4 folder.
Inside your mod folder, create a data folder, and a savegame folder, and any others you want to change from stock.

Ok figured it out. was cause a mod pack had been installed and it was using the mods settings folder, thanks for the quick responses,

As for the mod might have to look in to it if its that simple.

The trick is to make the uber weapons so expensive that only a super rich empire could ever aford to build one.... I like my Death Balls, and I will keep building them!
