Update to demo?
 

Back in November (!) I read that there would be an update to the demo. Since then, nothing. Will there be a demo v. 1.35? How different is the demo to the now-current game?

The demo has not been updated, and I don't think it will be. The demo is v0.99, I think. The only way to get to V1.35 is to buy the game and download patch 5.

The full game is far better - as well as all the extra techs and races (and no 100 turn limit) you benefit from the patches which have already fixed loads of bugs and introduced plenty of improvements.

A V1.35 game is completely different to early Versions - the AIs are more aggressive and smarter, and many elements of gameplay have been tweaked.

Go out and get it, is what I'm trying to say. They have a European distributer now but there's no reason not to use the US ones - I got my Version direct from the US no problems at all. All you need is pLastic=-)
