mod: The Sword of Inevitable Righteousness

This mod is mostly a result of my twiddling around with Inkscape, Gimp and Wings 3d:
I've added eight ships - five based on some sci-fi influences that i particularly enjoyed, three others were made without any external influence. Twelve items have been added, most of which can be fitted to a hardpoint. There are two new races, both sporting fairly well equipped military fleets. Maybe I should use Wings to make my ship and render it out. |

Wings is very recommendable, in my opinion.

Glad I checked here today. Can't wait to try it out. Looks exciting and new. Sorta like the Love Boat, only the crew and passengers die.

This stuff is reeeeally nice!!! Congrat's! I just love the mercenary corvette (lots of gun ports :-))
I although discovered a bug - choosing XGP ship I found the particle vortex cannon and of course put on the ship the following happened: during battle the cannon started firing when enemy was in range, but only in one direction. It did not tracked the ship!!! Is it intentional? And just out of curiosity: does someone working on Babylon 5 mod or ships? It would be great... |

Ah, right. The XGP has only one turret to complement its two missile ports (which are only useful with guided missiles unless you've got a very careful aim, i'm afraid). I tried to model the ship after the Outlaw Star (of the series by the same name) which uses missiles for just about everything except point defense and ship-to-ship melee.
Still wondering if it might be possible to script grappler arms into the game. Original SIR dev thread @ Infinite space federation |
