River crossings
 

The AI doesn't seem to like to supply you with barges to transport Armor and other goodies. Anyone know of a fix? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/cool.gif

This has come up before and I'm curious, does the computer really supply you with barge carriers for river crossings? I was under the impression that I had to buy such things myself or otherwise find a way around the issue. This was the way it worked in WinSPMBT.

The purchase routines does not supply you with barges, unless you are doing an amphibious assault.

Please see the Game Manual, click on "Playing a Single Battle" link and then scroll down to the battle type/description matrix. Then refer to the "river crossing assault" for the details.

(The manual is easily accessed from the Game Options programme, select the "Help" tab, and then click on "Read the Game Manual", it will bring up the GM in your browser)
