Screensaver Request
 

When you fire up the game, there is a nice battle going on in the background.

I'd really like to see a screensaver made of this. I think it's a great way to promote the game.

That would be pretty cool!

Only if it was available for the Mac as well as Windows though ;-)

In fact, any kind of WW:RTIS screensaver would be nice - along with more desktops (hint).

Ooh, yeah... I remember a shareware game called Inner Space which IIRC had this feature...

Nihilix and I (and I think pretty much all of the Fearless Testers) asked for that repeatedly during development. I think it's the single most-requested feature, in fact.

Do those guys have any intention of putting more work into this game, or is it pretty much abandoned?

It's definitely not abandoned. I saw a fairly recent post from Fingers (late June) talking about prioritizing what he works on. He spent 6 months serving in the Finnish army, so I think that slowed things down a bit.
