Should I bother w/ 1.35?
I've been hearing a lot of complaints about 1.35 being buggy. Is it? Should I install it or wait for the next patch?
Thanx for the advice! |
Re: Should I bother w/ 1.35?
Just don't keep reloading your savegames to go back to 'correct mistakes' while still playing and you should be fine. The map editor is a bit buggy but a new fix 'should' be on its way as MM is e-mailed more and more about the Save game problem. For now just play the game 'for real'. I.E., play, play, play, play, save. Quit, REST. Reload, play..........

I defenitely think you should install it. The map editor is great and until now I had very few problems with Version 1.35.

Originally posted by Deathstalker: As to the AI files for the change to the current patch(1.35) the changes are mostly in the spelling/syntax. Savy has been changed to 'Savvy' in the General AI file, and in the Design Creations file the reference to 'Phased-Shiled Generation' is now 'Phased Shield Generation' (no hyphen), and in the 'fighter' part of the creation the reference to 'Combat Sensors' is now replaced with 'Combat To Hit Offense Plus' (it IS case sensitive).....these are the only changes I know of so far. Hope it helps.

KOOL! you just answered my question, and you didn't even reply to my post!!! (I got the quote from a different thread) After I installed 1.35, I got errors about all three of those things! So, um, any ideas of how to fix them? *blush*
Of course, installing the latest Version of the TDM Modpack (updated for v1.35) will fix all these problems, as I discovered after looking in the mod section. |
