Making LBMs
What sort of programme do I use to make an LBM file?

Re: Making LBMs
An image editing programme, such as I think Paint Shop Pro (I lost my copy of it in the move and have not replaced yet) that can save as LBM an also can load pallettes.
Irfanview can read them, but not write them. I have "the Gimp" loaded for evaluation, but it cannot read them, so that programme looks like it is for the chop http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif Paint Shop Pro (there is a try it out option, and Corel seem to have taken it over now) Cheers Andy |

Thanks, I will get on it right away.

Re: Making LBMs
Is there really no utility for converting .bmps or a more common image type to .lbms? I'd really prefer not to have to buy an image editing program I'd probably rarely use just to be able to edit lbms.

Paint.net is freeware. You have to have MS .net installed.

OK, I downloaded paint shop proand created my LBM. It now looks all fluffy in game. I cannot get rid of the colour in the picture.
I am not happy with the way it looks when minimised either. I will upload the full size version and anyone who wants to help turn it into a proper LBM please, please help. It is in its origional jpeg format. It therefore is much bigger and more colourful than the desired LBM. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/cool.gif It is a mishmash assault rifle I designed. Part G36 and part Sig with some other HK gun traits. It looks rather nice actually. |
