Still a remarkable community
I flip back and forth to different forums on Shrapnel and am always suprised that for a game that was released in 2000, that the forum population (number viewing) is always larger than every other forum.
Notably, Shrapnel's other blockbuster title, Dominions 2, and its follow-up Dominions 3 (which I preordered), have a population which when added together almost equals the Space Empires Forum at any given time. Kind of interesting. We have a good thing going here and I hope it continues. So I guess this is a "rah!rah! Go us!" comment http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif |
Re: Still a remarkable community
Im wondering what will happen once SEV is released, and a new publisher will offer a new board.

Re: Still a remarkable community
As long as Shrapnel Games keeps this forum active, I'd suspect this will remain the most active forum even after SE:V has been released. Right now, the Strategy First forums are rather slow...

Not to mention primitive, compared to these forums.

Re: Still a remarkable community
yeah, this is the first place I check for SE stuff. Followed Closely by SE.net. I'm here every single day. Usually several times per day.
Stratgy First... usually 1/week I'm there. |
Re: Still a remarkable community
After 4 years of being on this forum, I still love it. I consider this place to be my home on the net.
I never have visited SF1's forums. Maybe I should go and have a look at it. |
Re: Still a remarkable community
You never know, if Aaron ever leaves SFI and forms a new game company with a new game franchise he just might come back here.

Re: Still a remarkable community
I've almost made this my homepage; thought about it several times. But other people in the house have an annoying habit of using this computer. This is always my first or second stop after opening any browser session.

Re: Still a remarkable community
I dunno; the forums don't seem as fun as they used to.
