mines/dt/trenches? latest version
 

2 questions:

What is the latest version of spmbt? The date given on mine is 6 sep 2005 after downloading 2.5 and 2.51 but I seem to recall that before dl-ing the patches the date was later - 2006.

How do you buy mines/dt/trenches/barbed wire? There doesn't seem to be a way to purchase them in the 'deploy' screen in the editor? Is there another place to do this? Or is this a premium feature of the CD version?

Only the defender in a "Defend" mission may purchase them. There will be a grey button in the lower center portion of the screen, where the button for completing purchase, etc, are at.

Version 2.51 is the latest one, so the 2005 is correct. There's been no new version for WinSPMBT since then as almost all attention has gone to WinSPWW2 for most of the last year. But many of the new features and improvements made/found for WinSPWW2 will find their way into a new WinSPMBT version which is planned for the late fall/early winter.
Right now it's break time though as the development of both games was back to back. And it's summer!!!! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
