Hey all I have a dumb question, how the heck do you delete textures from those boxes?

I mean you know the boxes with the arrows, how do you return one to it's default WHITE instead of an imported image because this is really bugging me as i have a bunch of unused images lying around there for no purpose.

You don't. You can replace the textures by loading new ones.
