AA on a stonehouse
 

I have already learned that I can not for some silly reason place my AA gun or SAM missile on the roof of the house in SPMBT game. But what sectors can the gun shoot on? And can it shoot right up as on the open http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/rolleyes.gif

If you mean what can an AA unit fire through an adjacent building in AA mode, then it possibly can, if the plane is flying directly above the bulding at the time.

AA in built up areas will have very limited AA arcs.

I do not have experiencies in real war (except as a child during WW2 in air-raid shelter) but I suppose that in those conditions AA guns were placed either on the roof or on the garret and on the ceiling an opening were teared large enough so that the gan will have shooting arc nearly as large as on an open place.

I was too lazy to experiment with SPMBT and I though that the gentlemen here could give me an answer outright http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...es/redface.gif

I used "gun" as a general term meaning for ex. a machinegun or SAM-missile troop http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/evil.gif
