Flight changes?
Question for the beta-testers: has flight changed, and if so, how?
I seem to recall hearing that flight during battle was no longer essentially teleportation, but I don't recall anything more detailed. Anybody care to let Fluffy out of the sack? |

In Dom2 Flight was essentially buggy and useless, I mostly hope it has been fixed...

Flying units need more setup, that's all IMO.

He propably means unscripted Caelins telejumping into frontline and then getting decimated by arrows. WAD, Size 3 leather clad units with 9 HP are going to get butchered by arrows.

Also, while innate flying (including from items) could be used well, _casting_ flight was buggy and horrible, when a pretender that's all alone casts flight and _misses_ itself, or when mages casting it would cast on units that already had flight, grrrr.... |
