I can already do alot of crazy things with Dom3. Crazy maps, huge games, random scattered monsters on the maps, auto-generated blitz games.

I am gonna make a total conversion mod with the help of my mates here. It will totally change the game, new nations [the first release will contain 6 traditional fantasy races], lot of nation specific spells, lot of new craftable armors, weapons etc. ..and of course totally new unit, interface graphics...what is possible we will change it.
I am also gonna make maps for the game, Gandalf, take a look at our topic in the mod section, I am gonna post about this map editor what I've mentioned already. This is definitely the ultimate map maker for Doms 3. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Gandalf, your idea to have auto-filled AI positions could be a very good one. I would really appreciate a PBEM server like this: one that allows you to choose which kind of game you want to join (meaning number of players and which map) and a deadline for when the game is going to start. This way, rather than coordinate a bunch of people, everyone just finds the games they want and join. If you happen to join a game with 2 players and 10 AIs, it's because nobody wants to play that type of game at the same time as you. I don't know if this kind of thing is possible, though.
