There be bugs!

Hi guys,

I just got my copy and installed it.

Second game, random large map, my nation is Bakemono.

My starting area is in the middle of the ocean. The flags of the neighboring provinces do not match the borders shown on the map (one painted province has three flags in it). I can't move because Bakemonos are no aquatiq race... seems the random map creator needs to be looked over again ;-)

But the game is addictive as ever, even though I miss scalable research (why just money, ressources and supplies?

Well done

Research isn't scalable anymore?

There is a thread about bugs, you should post about this in that topic. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

There is a known bug with starting a new game with the same name as an old game. The old game's map graphics is used with the new map's coordinates, or something like that. Are you sure you didn't make a second game named "test"?

All you need to do is exit Dom3, and start it again. When you resume game (no need to start another one) map will be correct.

It's known bug and already reported.

How nice of you guys with the full game to play-test it for us who don't have it yet. Gets us a bug-free demo. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...es/biggrin.gif

Why does everyone assume bugs are being removed from the demo? If I was the developer I can tell you that I sure as heck would not waste my time debugging a demo. I'm pretty sure what they said was that the demo was taking some time because they are developing it to be cross-platform. The way people release bugless demos would be to simply not release the demo until the main game has been patched.

Actually, we're waiting the demo precisely because they are debugging it.

Just making sure there are no bugs in the demo restrictions. We wouldn't want you to get a full game accidentally http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

But we still love you http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
